Black-billed Magpie
In Evergreen, Colorado, hanging out at the Barn at Evergreen Memorial Park, I had my first encounter with a Magpie! Technically the Black-billed Magpie, this big beauty easily catches the eye with bold black and white markings.
These shots are all from the first sighting. Though I encountered several other magpies over the next few days, in both urban and rural settings, I wasn't able to get any better pics. Big, beautiful, and sneaky...I like it! ;)
