Woodhouse's Scrub Jay

I was visiting Glenwood Springs Colorado, and had taken the gondola ride to the Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park. At the top of the mountain, I encountered a large blue bird, similar to the common blue jays seen in Ohio.

It's a jay alright but checking the birding sites it was difficult to identify. Western Scrub Jay, Mexican Scrub Jay, California Scrub Jay?

Turns out the latest naming conventions have locked this bird in as Woodhouse's Scrub Jay.

Don't know who Woodhouse is, but...cool! I'm jealous!
