These Pied-billed Grebes (the male has the distinctive black stripe on his bill and the white eye outline) were deep-water fishing in the pond in the Pleasant Valley area of Battelle Darby Creek Metro Park, in Orient, OH. They would "duck" under the water hunting for food for almost a minute at a time! As they're also pretty skittish around humans, they make it rather difficult to get a good picture opportunity!
