Tree Swallow

The Tree Swallow is fairly common in Central Ohio. They use their excellent speed and agility to hunt insects in flight. I was thrilled to get a few decent in-flight shots of these little birds. Seeing them at rest, usually on posts or the top of nesting boxes built just for them, allows a better opportunity to enjoy their beautiful, shiny blue colors.
